Preparing and holding plenary sessions in accordance with the distribution of responsibilities and instructions of the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, coordinating the work of parliamentary committees and working groups on various issues, representing parliament at international and domestic forums, interacting with the Government and the President.
Takes an active position on the public administration reform in Ukraine and decentralization of power. Supports the development of youth policy in Ukraine. During the current parliamentary term, he has been involved in the implementation of key reforms (judicial, land, anti-corruption, economic, decentralization, electoral, etc.), and in the removal of artificial barriers – bureaucratic, procedural, political – to these reforms.
As a representative of the leadership of the Ukrainian Parliament, he is actively involved in the implementation of legislative changes and European integration reforms for Ukraine’s early accession to the European Union.
Since February 24, 2022, he has been assisting the Armed Forces of Ukraine, traveling to the border, de-occupied territories and frontline areas.
He is active on the diplomatic front. During 2022-2023, he held over 150 international meetings and paid official visits to more than 20 countries.

- Head of the Delegation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU);
- Head of the Delegation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN);
- Works to deepen inter-parliamentary cooperation in the Global South, in particular with the countries of Africa;
- Head of the Delegation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the Council of Europe in the High-Level Multilateral Dialogue “Good Governance in Ukraine: Achievements, Challenges and the Way Forward in Post-War Period”;
- Co-chair of Parliament group Network of OECD.

- 2019 – Head of the election headquarters of the political party “Servant of the People”. MP candidate from the same name party in the 2019 parliamentary elections, No. 7 on the list. In July 2019, he was elected MP of Ukraine, IX convocation.
