Vice President for the Enterprise Innovation Institute at Georgia Institute of Technology and Georgia Advanced Technology Ventures

Mr. Bridges leads the Enterprise Innovation Institute which is the economic development arm of Georgia Tech. The organization has 12 core programs and is the largest economic development organization at any U.S. university with 150 research faculty. Our organization operates in the U.S. and has served over 29 countries on five continents. He has authored or co-authored over 135 economic development grant proposals, cooperative agreement proposals, and white papers, totaling $150 million in awarded funding. 

He has also acted as PI, co-P, or senior advisor on $35 million in grants with nine U.S. federal agencies and numerous international funders. He pioneered the creation of GT Innovation Ecosystem Building model which has led to a new center for Georgia Tech in Medellin, Colombia. Mr. Bridges has worked in numerous countries expanding manufacturing, innovation, and valorization capacity to include in Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Peru, Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, France, Slovakia, Iraq, Pakistan, Tunisia, South Africa, China, Korea, and Japan.
